Jay has been raised his entire life in the Comox Valley. After graduating from G.P. Vanier, Jay relocated to Nanaimo to pursue further education. During his time in Nanaimo, Jay completed his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA) – Accounting Concentration and worked in public practice. After obtaining his BBA degree, Jay returned to the Comox Valley, joined the team at Robbins & Company, and went on to complete his CGA designation. Jay became a Partner in the firm in 2016.

Lyle Carlstorm

Lyle Dennis Carlstrom was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1987. Lyle is a strong supporter of public legal education. He has taught with Athabasca University, Fairview College, Grande Prairie Regional College, the Alberta Real Estate Association, the Council for Lifelong Learning, the Rural Learning Network and Comox Valley ElderCollege. Lyle helped create The Estate & Financial Planning Institute.

Along with public legal education, Lyle has served in numerous other volunteer capacities.Lyle served as a Director of Project Watershed and was a member of the Fundraising Committee for the Kus-Kus-Sum restoration project. he won Courtenay Rotary Club’s Top Hand and Sponsorship awards in 2019. He recently became a director with Comox Business in Action.
